Already thinking about 2025? With the dates already locked in for Sónar Lisboa 202511th, 12th and 13th April - and the first wave of artists announced today, it’s time to plan your trip to Lisbon to kick off festival season 2025.

Amor Satyr & Siu Mata (FR) | Anetha (FR) | BASHKKA b2b Ogazón (TR/ES) | Clementaum (BR) | Gabber Eleganza presents ‘The Hakke Show’ (IT) | Héctor Oaks (ES) ISAbella (CO/ES) | JASSS (ES) | Jennifer Cardini (FR) | Juliana Huxtable (US) | Marcel Dettmann presents ‘My Own Shadow’ live (DE) | Max Cooper live  (UK) | Modeselektor DJ set (DE) | Nina Kraviz (RU) | NOIA (PT)

These first 15 names represent the Sónar ethos of the frequency of now: emphasising artists who are driving club culture forward. This is just a taste of the full programme - more artists will be announced soon - which takes over Parque Eduardo VII in central Lisbon for three days next spring.

Headlined by trio of techno artists who expand the definition of the genre Marcel Dettmann presents ‘My Own Shadow’ live, Nina Kraviz, and Anetha - this first wave also includes a brand-new show by innovative AV artist Max Cooper; plus three of the underground’s most in-demand selectors in ISAbella and BASHKKA b2b Ogazón

Veteran Berlin duo and Monkeytown Records founders Modeselektor lead a list of DJs who are keeping the spirit of the rave alive in 2025. Selector and label owner Jennifer Cardini has been quietly widening clubber’s horizons for the last three decades: they play everything from seductive italo and house to EBM and techno. Looking for something harder? Try Gabber Eleganza’s The Hakke Show, which brings gabber subculture and hakke dancing to the stage. You can also expect a relentless set from Spanish underground superstar Héctor Oaks, who fuses raw techno with ghetto house and electro.

Another Spanish DJ and producer, JASSS, reconfigures classic rave styles like techno, breakbeat and trance for the 21st century, as does multidisciplinary American artist Juliana Huxtable. Rising local star NOIA is helping put jungle and drum’n’bass back on dancefloors in Portugal, while Parisian duo Amor Satyr & Siu Mata link Latin rhythms with tribal techno and jungle. Finally, one of the hottest names from a wildly creative Brazilian scene, Clementaum, explores the full range of Latin club music.

This is just the first wave of artists, with plenty more names to be announced soon. Right now, we recommend you grab your Full Festival Pass, available now for just €100 + booking fee, and get ready to kick off the 2025 festival season in Lisbon on 11th, 12th and 13th April next year.
