Expect puro fuego from the Madrid-born rave superstar, whose vinyl-only sets are legendary for their intensity and technicality
Fuego - Spanish for fire, just in case - is a word that you hear a lot around Madrid DJ, producer and lifelong raver Héctor Oaks. It’s everywhere on his social media and event descriptions, and even in the title of his last album. It’s also a fitting word to describe the intensity of his vinyl-only sets, which burn through rapid techno, raw ghetto house, acid, industrial and anything else he’s got in his crate. Last time he DJed at Sónar Lisboa he managed to convince Richie Hawtin to dig out his records for the first time in years, and while that’s not likely to happen this time round, we can promise plenty of fire emojis when this underground raver turned international superstar takes to the booth.
