Going beyond music, Sónar+D explores the shared spaces between the creative industries, innovation, and technology. The event like no other will return to Lisbon in April as part of Sónar Lisboa 2025, with a select programme of Masterclasses at Casa do Lago supported by ME by Meliá, a prelude to the opening of the brand-new ME Lisbon hotel in central Lisbon, coming soon.
Voices of Sónar+D by ME by Meliá is a series of three masterclasses that will be held on the afternoon of Friday 11th April between 15:00 and 18:30 at Casa do Lago in Parque Eduardo VII. Lisbon-based curator Kaitlyn Davies and creative technologist Brian Wong harness the power of AI for their collective listening / community creation session ‘Mapping Scene Sonics’ before renowned digital artists Boldtron will show how AI can be used to expand - and not replace - human creativity in their Masterclass ‘Creative thinking and AI’. Finally, Pablo Barquin and Anna Diaz, aka research-driven visual artists Hamill Industries, will explain how they craft their visuals from within their workshop.
The entire Voices of Sónar+D by ME by Meliá programme will be held at Casa do Lago, located inside Parque Eduardo VII. All three masterclasses are free-of-charge and open to the general public, with entrance on a first-come, first-served basis.
This is the final touch for the Sónar Lisboa 2025 programme, which is now just over a month away. Stay tuned for more information and updates in the next weeks, and don’t forget to grab your tickets (starting at €45, plus booking fee) here.
