The terms and conditions stipulated below regulate the conditions of ticket sales for the SÓNAR Festival Lisboa (SÓNAR) promoted and organized by the company Pixel Harmony LDA (the Organizers), the registered office of which is at Rua D. João IV 716, 1º Esq., 4000-299 Porto, website sonarlisboa.pt.
It is the holder of fiscal identity number 516224638, registered in the Conservatória do Registo Comercial do Porto, and constituted in 27/11/2020.
Purchase of the ticket entails acceptance of the following conditions:
1. Types of ticket
1.1. SonarPass: This ticket entitles the holder to admission to the day and night activities at the festival.
1.2. SonarPass VIP : This ticket entitles the holder to admission to the day and night activities at the festival.
1.3 Sónar by Day Ticket: This ticket entitles the holder to admission to the day activities at the festival during 1 day at Pavilhao Carlos Lopes and all days at Estufa Fria.
1.4. Sónar by Night Ticket: This ticket entitles the holder to admission to the night activities at the festival during 1 night at Pavilhao Carlos Lopes and Estufa Fria (limited to legal capacity of 1500 pax).
2. Ticket Purchases
2.1. Distribution costs are not included in the ticket price, except at the festival ticket offices. Each vendor applies its own distribution cost. The ticket price will be refunded if SÓNAR total or partial, is cancelled (except for fortuitous causes and/or force majeure and/or any other cause which, being beyond its control, would recommend for reasons of safety, prudence and/or risk to third parties, the cancellation of the Festival, in its entirety). This refund not include the distribution cost applied by the various sales, except for a refund of the distribution cost applied by the various sales channels.
2.2. Tickets may only be purchased at sales points specifically authorised by the Organizers and after purchase, they will be not be exchanged and no refund of their value will be given, except in cases where SÓNAR is cancelled. Any tickets that are altered, torn, or with signs of falsification will entitle the Organizers to refuse the bearer admission to the concerts and activities area.
2.3. The Organisation will not be held responsible for tickets that have not been purchased through the official online or physical points of sale; or that have been falsified or duplicated.
2.4. Once the purchase has been made, no changes or refunds are allowed.
2.5. The Organizers have technical procedures in place that are capable of detecting any duplicated, photocopied or forged ticket. The Organizers shall be entitled to refuse admission to the holder of any ticket in which irregularities are detected. The detection of any fraudulent use of the Print @ home tool will be prosecuted in accordance with the applicable legislation, including criminal liability.
2.6. The conditions of access and attendance for the event are subject to the regulations that, at any given time, are applicable for the prevention of Covid-19 infections, and which, therefore, may be altered as a result of the approval of new measures that modify the conditions in force at the time of purchase of the ticket.
3. Right of admission
Without prejudice to the above, the total or partial cancellation of SÓNAR due to unforeseen circumstances and/or force majeure will not provide grounds for a refund of the ticket price.
3.1. When festival events take place within closed venues, admission and entry is limited to each venue’s legal capacity, and entry may be denied once the respective legal capacity has been reached.
3.2 The Organizers reserve the right of admission to individuals who may reasonably be assumed to constitute a risk, and especially to holders of tickets in which an irregularity or falsification has been detected. The detection of any fraudulent use of the ticket will be prosecuted in accordance with the applicable legislation.
3.3. For security reasons entrance to the SÓNAR venues is not permitted with suitcases or large bags, large backpacks, skateboards, professional camera equipment, food or drink. Smaller bags such as handbags or small backpacks and motorcycle helmets, will be permitted. Other objects forbidden are aerosols, drones, laser pointers, selfie sticks or sharp objects. Those attending may be searched in accordance with the applicable legislation, and objects that may be considered dangerous by the Organizers or are prohibited by the regulations will not be admitted.
3.4. Food and drink from outside the SÓNAR venue are prohibited.
3.5. Any person attending, including after entry to the festival areas, may be ejected without any entitlement to a refund, as a result of failing to follow instructions given by SÓNAR Organizers staff, causing a disturbance, carrying or consuming drugs, or due to an apparent or potential state of intoxication, and will be personally and fully responsible for their own actions and omissions towards third parties and damage to objects.
4. Prohibition on the use of tickets for advertising purposes
Possession of a ticket does not entitle the holder to use it for advertising, marketing or promotion purposes. Improper use will oblige the unauthorised advertiser and/or user to pay a fine equivalent to one thousand times the highest ticket price of the event, without prejudice to subsequent claims for general damages. Tickets found to be in breach of this prohibition will be confiscated, and cancelled immediately.

6. Alteration or cancellation of the festival
6.1. The Organizers reserve the right to change, alter or cancel the SÓNAR festival programme at any time for reasons beyond their control. Under no circumstances will the alteration or modification of the programme be considered grounds for the reimbursement of tickets.
6.2. The Organizers will make every effort to avoid the inconvenience that the modification or suspension of the SÓNAR programme may entail, by restructuring performance schedules, for example.
6.3. In the event of cancellation of SÓNAR, customers may request a refund within the period legally established from the public communication of the cancellation and in the manner established by the Organisers for this purpose, if applicable.
Without prejudice to the above, the total or partial cancellation of SÓNAR due to unforeseen circumstances and/or force majeure will not provide grounds for a refund of the ticket price, force majeure being understood to be that established for this purpose in the Civil Code and under the jurisprudence of the Spanish courts and tribunals, including any circumstance which, being beyond the control of the event organiser, requires for reasons of safety, prudence and/or risk to third parties, the cancellation of SÓNAR.
In the event of ticket refunds, such refunds will only affect the cost of the tickets, expressly excluding any expenses that may have been incurred by customers, such as, but not limited to, travel, accommodation or any other expenses related to attending the festival.
7. Intellectual property and image rights
7.1. All image and intellectual property rights arising directly or indirectly from the artistic presentations or those of any other nature arising due to SÓNAR taking place are reserved, and the capture, filming or recording of images or sounds, other than for strictly personal use, without the prior written authorisation of the Organizers is completely prohibited.
7.2. The Sónar trademark and its derivatives are the property of Advanced Music SL and their use is strictly prohibited without the prior written authorisation of the organiser.
7.3. Those attending give their consent to their appearance in images recorded by any type of medium for subsequent informative, promotional and/or commercial dissemination of the SÓNAR festival and authorization for the use thereof free of charge. The said images may appear in any medium or format worldwide and indefinitely.
8.Complaint forms
The Organizers will have complaint forms available to those attending SÓNAR in the places specified by the applicable legislation if these are requested.
9. Privacy and data protection
The personal data of users of this website will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Policy and current legislation on the protection of personal data.
10. Legal reserve
The Organizers shall be entitled to take the civil and criminal legal action it deems appropriate against the perpetrators of any attempts at fraud, burglary and/or damage to the Organizers, either directly or indirectly.
11. Applicable legislation and competent courts
These conditions are governed by the applicable Portuguese legislation. When the applicable legislation allows the parties to choose the jurisdiction, the parties specifically waive any others that may apply to them, and agree to submit the differences that may arise from the interpretation or application of these conditions to the courts and tribunals of the city of Porto without prejudice to their consumer rights that may be legally claimed before the courts of their place of residence.
