We’ve got the three final names for Sónar Lisboa 2025 today: Detroit techno founding father Jeff Mills and a DJ set by cinematic French electronic duo The Blaze are joined by local DJ Maria Callapez. 

Both Jeff Mills and The Blaze DJ set have been added to Sónar by Day on Sunday 13th April, while Maria Callapez will play on Saturday 12th April, also at Sónar by Day. A limited number of individual tickets for Sunday will remain available at just €25 plus booking fee until midnight (PT) tonight, 5th February.

Jeff Mills should need no introduction: one of most important figures in the history of techno and one of the undisputed greatest DJs of all time. Since he first gazed at the stars from Detroit in the 1980s, his music has looked beyond the terrestrial plane, inspired by space travel and science fiction. A pivotal figure in the history of Sónar, it’s an honour to welcome him to Sónar Lisboa for the first time. 

 

French duo The Blaze have shot them to global stardom over the past decade. Their second full-length album JUNGLE cemented their reputation for cinematic, emotional electronica - dance music with a photographic quality to it. We’re excited to host them in Sónar Lisboa for a second time, where they’ll play a DJ set that explores their unique, enigmatic musical universe and deep influences. 

Hailing from Lisbon, Maria Callapez specialises in atmospheric techno with an experimental touch, inspired by her background in classical music. The young DJ and producer has risen to become an established member of a tight knit Portuguese scene of deep techno aficionados, with regular dates in Lisbon, Porto, and further afield.
