Zeynep’s the kind of DJ that every club night needs to have. A dedicated clubber since her teenage years, the German-born Syrian DJ plays for the dancers: she mixes deep, psychedelic dance music with understated elegance and plenty of energy. It’s a perfect formula no matter the hour: she’s just as happy warming up the dancefloor with deep house as she is keeping the early-morning dancers awake with breakbeats and proggy trance. That might be why she’s so difficult to pin down: with Zeynep it’s more about a vibe or feeling than a specific style or genre. We can’t wait to see what she pulls out of her bag at Sónar Lisboa 2025.
