At just 25 years old, VHOOR is already changing the sound of baile funk. One of Brazil’s hottest producers - both solo and as part of the Weird Baile crew - he’s spearheading the evolution of the genre over recent years, cutting up the classic sound with styles and genres from around the world. His breakthrough record, Baile, recorded in 2021 with Brazilian rapper FBC, went back to the genre’s roots, an update of the brash Miami bass and latin freestyle template that first inspired producers in the favelas.
