Over the past years Rita Maomenos has been developing her niche, exploring her love of dark, subversive and cinematic styles, from electro to techno. The Portuguese artist found a home in Holland’s electro capital Rotterdam, where she was a resident DJ at the Perron nightclub, and was also a regular on famed underground station Radio Operator. Since recently returning to Lisbon, she’s added her fresh perspective to the local scene, her productions a response to the anguish of modern life. At Sónar Lisboa 2024, expect a psychic, mental  journey through the darker side of electronic music.
