Mancunian producer and DJ Florentino weaves together his Colombian heritage with his passion for the UK bass music continuum. His passion for dancehall, soca and reggaéton found him a place in the low-end obsessed corners of the UK club underground, in particular, crucial Manchester party collective Swing Ting. Since releasing his first tracks for them back in 2015, he’s worked with DJ Python and Bad Gyal and set up his own Club Romantico imprint (releasing music from Manuka Honey, Nick León & Bitter Babe, Safety Trance, amongst others). His DJ sets join the dots between these names, providing a vital dose of speaker-rattling bass and sounds from across the latinx diaspora. Fresh off releasing his most accomplished EP yet on legendary UK label XL, he comes to Sónar Lisboa at the height of his powers.
