Italian-born, Madrid-based producer Bawrut is a DJ’s DJ. Taking Chicago house as a starting point, he explores everything from techno to disco and beyond, with the careful ear of a seasoned selector. Rather than ‘balearic’, he prefers the term ‘mediterranean’ - see his latest album on Ransom Note -  which serves as a metaphor for his approach to music: a place where various cultures, styles and sounds meet, usually under a clear blue sky.
